Balochistan education budget: more than Rs.100 billions allocated

The Balochistan government allocated more than Rs.100 billions for the education sector in the province in the budget for the financial year 2023-24. As per the budget documents obtained by the Daily Quetta Voice, Rs.65.21 billions were allocated for the salaries of teachers of primary, middle and high school teachers.

However, Rs. 12 billions were allocated for the development of the education sector in Balochistan. The provincial government also allocated Rs.13.63 billions for the non-development expenditures in the higher education department and Rs.10 billions for the development of education sector.

The overall education budget of the primary, middle high and higher education remains more than Rs.100 billions in Balochistan as per the budget documents of 2023-24.
