Thousands participate in the funeral prayer of former Governor Balochistan, Syed Fazal Agha in Pishin

PISHIN: Former Governor Balochistan, Syed Muhammad Fazal Agha was buried amid grief and sorrows at Pishin Killi Hajizai Syedan on Thursday evening. Thousands of people turned out to participate in the funeral prayer of the former governor.

Syed Fazal Agha was tested positive for the novel coronavirus at Fatima Jinnah Chest and General Hospital in Quetta and then was shifted to Karachi in serious condition. He breathed his last on Wednesday in Karachi.

Opposition leader in Balochistan Assembly, Malik Sikandar Advocate, MNA Maulavi Kamaluddin, former MPA, Syed Liaquat Agha, former provincial minister, Maulana Syed Abdul Bari Agha and people belonging to various walks of life participated in the funeral prayer.

Syed Fazal Agha had served as Governor Balochistan during the last tenure of former Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif. He had also served as the deputy chairman senate in the late 1980s.

Currently, he was an MPA from Pishin from Jamiat ul Ulema e Islam (F).
