Rs.1,250,000,000 released for 11 universities in Balochistan: Amjad Rashid

QUETTA: The Balochistan government has released Rs.1,25,000,000 for 11 public sector universities in Balochistan to address their issue of financial crisis. This was revealed by the caretaker finance minister of Balochistan, Amjad Rashid while talking to the Daily Quetta Voice.

“We are trying hard to address the financial issues of the universities”, he said. The finance minister said despite all odds and financial constraints, the caretaker government released this huge amount to support the universities.

“Higher education plays an important role in the development and prosperity of the country and nation”, the finance minister mentioned. He said the present government was determined to address all important issues faced by faculty members and students studying in all 11 universities in the province.

Amjad Rashid however urged the vice chancellors and faculty members to make sure to impart quality education to the students in universities. “Our students have the right to get quality education and a better atmosphere”, he concluded.
