QUETTA: The Caretaker Chief Minister Balochistan, Ali Mardan Domki paid surprise morning visits to various health centers in the provincial capital to bring transparency and ensure the attendance of health professionals.
On Wednesday morning, the caretaker CM paid a surprise visit to the basic health unit in Pashtoonabad, one of the marginalized and suburbs of the provincial capital. The CM checked the attendance of the staff members and inspected the medicine store of the basic health unit.

Senior officials accompanied the caretaker CM during his visit. Speaking on the occasion, the CM said improving the health sector was one of the top priorities of the present government. He directed the health professionals to make sure provision of the best health facilities to the masses.

“Government will not spare the officials who fail to perform their duties”, CM Domki warned. He said serving the ailing humanity was a noble cause and that the officials must ensure the implementation of the policies of the present government.
The caretaker CM also visited a basic health unit in the Pashtoon Bagh area of Quetta in the morning. The CM inspected the OPD, medicine store and other sections of the BHU. He appreciated the health staff for discharging their duties and directed them to double their efforts to serve the ailing humanity.

He said the government has decided to provide all facilities to the doctors and paramedics to improve health conditions at the government-run basic health units and hospitals. “Provincial government is determined to address your grievances”, the Caretaker CM assured.
Caretaker CM’s surprise visits have come after repeated complaints by citizens with regard to the plight of patients at the government run basic health units and government-run hospitals in the provincial capital.
