QUETTA: In a recent incident in the Hazar Ganji area of the city, a woman lost her life, and two others were injured in a tragic firing incident. The incident unfolded on Thursday, leading to a wave of anger and protests within the community.

Protest caused major road blockade

As a result of this heinous crime, enraged protesters took to the streets, blocking major roadways that include the main Western Bypass, as well as the Quetta Karachi and Chaman highways. These impassioned demonstrators also resorted to burning tires as a symbolic act of expressing their collective outrage against this brutal killing.

Protesters demand justice

The community’s call for justice and their strong demand for a safer environment is resonating loudly, bringing attention to the pressing issue of women’s safety. This incident serves as a somber reminder of the need for immediate action and reform to protect the lives and well-being of all citizens.
