QUETTA: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Anti-Human Trafficking Cell, under the directive of Director Balochistan Zone Imran Mehmood, has intensified efforts to combat human smuggling.

Acting on orders from Deputy Director Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Quetta, a targeted raid successfully led to the arrest of Shahzad Hussain, a key human trafficker operating an unregistered agency named All Haroon Travel on Dr. Bano Road, Quetta.

Accused Shahzad Hussain Arrested

Hussain’s arrest follows revelations of his involvement in obtaining passports illegally from unlicensed citizens, falsely promising overseas employment. The raid, executed by a team including SHO Raja Shahzad Mehmood, Sub-Inspector Zahid Gul, Constable Kailash, and Raza, resulted in the recovery of numerous passports.

Preliminary investigations indicate that Hussain extorted significant amounts of money from citizens under the guise of facilitating employment opportunities in the UAE and the UK.

FIA Actively Pursuing Investigation

The FIA is actively pursuing the investigation, with ongoing raids aimed at capturing additional suspects involved in this illicit trade. This decisive action underscores the commitment of law enforcement to dismantle human trafficking networks and protect citizens from exploitation.
