QUETTA: A representative delegation from the Overseas Employment Promoters Association, led by Chairman Asad Kayani, met with Caretaker Chief Minister Mir Ali Mardan Khan Domki of Balochistan on Friday. They provided a comprehensive overview of the association’s performance and initiatives nationwide, including in Balochistan. Provincial Finance and Revenue Minister Amjad Rasheed was also present during discussions with the delegation.
20,000 Youth From Balochistan Under Training
Caretaker Chief Minister Mir Ali Mardan Khan Domki stated that twenty thousand youths are undergoing training in various fields through the Prime Minister Youth Skills Program in Balochistan, with 7,000 women included in this training. Upon completion of their training, these individuals will secure employment in diverse sectors, achieving economic self-sufficiency. Emphasizing the constitutional responsibility to provide employment opportunities, Mir Ali Mardan Khan Domki highlighted that employment extends beyond government jobs, and there is a growing demand for skilled individuals in both global and national markets. He stressed the importance of guiding and providing opportunities for them to progress.
Balochistan Youth Receiving Skill Training: Amjad Rashid
Caretaker Finance and Revenue Minister Amjad Rashid, on this occasion, mentioned that technical training is being imparted to Balochistan’s youth across various fields. To date, twenty thousand youths have undergone training in various courses. Under Domki’s direction, the youth of Balochistan are receiving skill training in diverse fields, aiming to not only support their families but also contribute to foreign exchange and play a role in enhancing the country’s economy.
