From Our Correspondent:

TURBAT: Police lodged a first information report (FIR) against four Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) personnel in connection with the alleged killing of Baloch Baloch. Police lodged the FIR on the directives of the district and session judge Kech on Saturday.

Family members of the young man Balach Baloch accused the CTD personnel of the killing. The charge was vehemently denied by CTD. The CTD said that Balach was killed while carrying explosive materials in Turbat. The court directed the police to lodge the FIR on a constitutional petition seeking the registration of a case against CTD officials.

The registration of the FIR has come after the provincial government established an inquiry committee to probe into the incident. Protests erupted in Turbat after the alleged extra judicial killing of Balach Mola Bakhsh.
