Over 2,000 patients have recovered from the novel coronavirus in Balochistan since the outbreak of the pandemic. Most of the patients have recovered at their homes while battling the virus.
The Balochistan health department confirmed 228 fresh cases of the deadly virus on Thursday evening. With the confirmation of new cases, the tally has reached 5,582 in Balochistan.
The Corona Cell in its daily situation report confirmed the death of 53 people in the province. Balochistan health department has conducted over 28,000 tests throughout the province.
The deadly virus has spread to 27 out of a total of 33 districts of Balochistan. Quetta, the provincial capital has been hit hard by the virus that continues to spread fast in the province. However, cases continue to rise in Pishin, Killa Abdullah, Killa Saifullah, and other districts of the province on a daily basis. The provincial government has imposed a smart lockdown to contain the virus.
