Nashad Baloch:

Panic spread in the Dungra area near Sibi after an explosion occurred close to a railway track on Thursday. Fortunately, the Bolan Mail Express had just passed moments before the blast, narrowly avoiding a major tragedy. According to officials, one of the carriages, bogie number 7, sustained minor damage in the incident.

Railway authorities confirmed that security forces immediately cordoned off the area following the explosion. A technical team from Pakistan Railways has been dispatched to the site to assess the damage and begin clearance operations.

As a precaution, the Jaffar Express traveling from Punjab to Quetta was halted at Dera Murad Jamali, while the Quetta-bound train from Punjab will be temporarily stopped at Sibi until further notice.

Railway officials added that train services will only resume once the track is cleared and declared safe for travel. In the meantime, all rail traffic in the region has been suspended.
