Two people were killed when unidentified armed assailants opened fire in the Shapatan area of Panjgur, police said on Monday.

According to police sources, unknown motorcycle-borne attackers fired at the victims, killing them on the spot.

The deceased have been identified as Zafar, son of Ustad Muhammad Ali, and Naeem, son of Haji Azam.

Police officials stated that an investigation has been launched into the incident, and efforts are underway to trace and arrest the culprits involved in the attack.
