Disciplinary proceedings have been initiated against nine officers accused of involvement in anti-state activities, while show-cause notices for termination have been issued. The committee viewed the distancing of families from terrorist elements as a constructive and encouraging trend.

The Federal Investigation Agency presented an update on operations targeting hawala-hundi networks and extortion rackets in Balochistan. Authorities reported 24 arrests and 16 convictions so far, with further investigations underway. The Apex Committee expressed satisfaction over the agency’s improved performance and directed continued vigilance.
