Quetta: The Government of Balochistan has enforced Section 144 across Quetta, imposing a ban on double riding and gatherings of more than four people as security measures have been intensified across the city.
According to Babar Yousafzai, Adviser to the Balochistan Government on Interior Affairs, the decision was taken in view of the prevailing security situation and potential threats from militant elements. He stated that security institutions are on high alert to counter any possible activities linked to “Fitna al-Khawarij” and “Fitna al-Hindustan.”
The provincial government warned that any attempt by banned organizations to create unrest or carry out acts of violence will be responded to firmly and effectively.
