Gwadar: Under the public-friendly vision and sustainable development policy of Mir Sarfraz Bugti, the Public Health Engineering Department Gwadar is rapidly advancing the construction of a modern Water Station Project in Pishukan under the Public Sector Development Program (PSDP).

The project aims to ensure a reliable and sustainable supply of clean drinking water to local residents while providing a long-term solution to water scarcity issues in the region. The initiative is considered a significant step toward improving water infrastructure, public health, and basic civic facilities in coastal areas of Balochistan.

The development project, being carried out under the directives of Naqeebullah Kakar and supervised by Executive Engineer Momin Baloch, was recently inspected by Engineer Sajid Sakhi along with Jameel Adam.

During the visit, officials reviewed the pace of construction, technical standards, quality of materials, and overall progress of the project. Engineer Sajid Sakhi directed the contractor to ensure that all phases of construction are completed within the stipulated timeframe while strictly adhering to government-approved engineering and quality standards.

He emphasized that the Government of Balochistan will not compromise on quality in public welfare projects and that the timely completion of development initiatives remains a top priority.

Chairman Jameel Adam stated that the modern water station project holds great importance for the people of Pishukan and surrounding areas. He also appreciated the efforts of the Government of Balochistan, Gwadar district administration, and the Public Health Engineering Department for actively working toward the development of coastal regions and the provision of essential public services.

Local residents expressed satisfaction over the ongoing development work, saying the project would help address long-standing water shortage problems while promoting healthier living conditions for the community. Citizens described the initiative as a practical example of the Balochistan government’s commitment to public welfare and sustainable infrastructure development.
