Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti visited the Trauma Center in Quetta on Sunday to meet those injured in the Chaman Phatak bomb blast and review the medical care being provided to them.

During the visit, the Chief Minister personally met the injured victims, inquired about their health, and expressed his heartfelt wishes for their swift recovery. He also met with family members of the victims and received detailed updates on treatment facilities, healthcare services, and overall arrangements for the injured.

Health officials, including Mujeeb ur Rehman Panizai and Dr. Malik Kamran Kasi, briefed the Chief Minister on the condition of the patients and the ongoing medical response.

Mir Sarfraz Bugti directed the Health Department to ensure that all injured individuals receive the highest standard of medical care without delay. He stressed that no negligence in treatment would be tolerated and assured families that the provincial government would continue supporting the victims until their complete recovery.

Strongly condemning the Chaman Phatak blast, the Chief Minister described the attack as a cowardly act aimed at disrupting peace and stability. He said such incidents cannot shake the nation’s determination to defeat terrorism.

“The fight against terrorism is not only the responsibility of our security forces; it is a collective national effort that requires unity from every citizen,” he said.

Bugti noted that Pakistan, particularly Balochistan, has made immense sacrifices in the battle against terrorism and vowed that these sacrifices would not be in vain. He added that attacks targeting innocent civilians under the guise of ideology or freedom serve external agendas and would be defeated through national unity and public resilience.

Reaffirming the government’s commitment to lasting peace, the Chief Minister said that terrorists would be overcome through collective resolve and that the sacrifices made for a peaceful and secure Balochistan would always be remembered.
