Quetta/Mastung: Renowned Brahui-language scholar, educationist, and Vice Chancellor of University of Gwadar, Abdul Razzaq Sabir Sarparah, has been safely recovered along with Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Manzoor Dost and Vice Chancellor’s Public Relations Officer Irshad Baloch.

According to sources, the three officials were released by their abductors and later found near Mastung. The abductors reportedly left them in the area before fleeing.

The recovery of the senior academic figures has brought relief to their families, colleagues, and the academic community across Balochistan. Abdul Razzaq Sabir Sarparah is widely recognized for his contributions to Brahui literature, education, and academic development in the province.

Authorities have not yet released an official statement regarding the circumstances surrounding the abduction or the recovery. Further investigations are expected to determine the details of the incident and identify those responsible.
