News Desk: Unidentified armed men allegedly kidnapped seven individuals, including police personnel, during a routine patrol in Dera Bugti district, prompting authorities to launch a large-scale search operation for their recovery.
According to police officials, the incident occurred within the jurisdiction of Saddar Police Station when the victims were carrying out routine patrolling and monitoring duties in the Pera Sale area. Armed assailants reportedly intercepted the group and abducted them at gunpoint before fleeing to an unknown location.
The abducted individuals have been identified as Parvez Musharraf, Muhammad Murad, Yasir Soba Khan, Shahjan, Khan, and two police personnel accompanying the team.
Following the abduction, police and security forces rushed to the area, cordoned off surrounding routes, and initiated an extensive search operation to trace the kidnappers and secure the safe recovery of the hostages.
Authorities said investigations are underway, while security agencies continue combing the region for clues regarding the whereabouts of the abducted persons.
