QUETTA: Senior commanders of the Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan (North) visited the homes of police personnel martyred in the recent Ziarat terrorist attack, reaffirming solidarity with the bereaved families and emphasizing the close coordination between Pakistan’s security institutions in the fight against terrorism.
According to official sources, 27 police personnel embraced martyrdom while resisting terrorists in the Ziarat area of Balochistan. Authorities have described the attackers as members of the Indian-backed militant group Fitna al Hindustan.

Officials said 18 policemen were taken hostage during the assault. Despite captivity, they refused to compromise on national security or abandon their duty, ultimately embracing martyrdom. Their sacrifice has been hailed as an example of exceptional courage, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to Pakistan.
As part of the outreach, the Commandant of FC Balochistan (North) and Wing Commanders visited the homes of the martyrs, met with their families, laid floral wreaths at their graves, offered Fateha, and conveyed heartfelt condolences.
The visits reflected the strong bond between Pakistan’s police and paramilitary forces, reinforcing the message that all security institutions stand united in confronting terrorism and honoring the sacrifices of fallen personnel.

Speaking during the visits, an official said the blood of the martyred policemen would never be forgotten, adding that the nation and its security forces remain united in supporting the families of the fallen and continuing the fight against terrorism.
The initiative has been widely viewed as a powerful gesture of institutional solidarity, assuring the families of the Ziarat police martyrs that the sacrifices of their loved ones will always be remembered and that efforts to eliminate terrorism in Balochistan will continue with renewed resolve.
