QUETTA: The Vice Chancellor of the Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEMS), Prof. Dr. Khalid Hafeez, has been awarded the Principal Fellowship by the National Council for Entrepreneurship Education (NCEE), United Kingdom, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to entrepreneurship education.
The prestigious fellowship acknowledges Prof. Dr. Hafeez’s efforts in promoting entrepreneurial education and innovation across Pakistan, the United Kingdom, and the Middle East, reflecting his long-standing commitment to strengthening academic leadership and enterprise development.
According to details shared by the university, this distinction places Prof. Dr. Hafeez among a select group of internationally recognised academic leaders. Notably, he is the first and only academic from Pakistan to receive the honour. He is also the only recipient from the wider South Asian region, including India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and China.
