Hussain Zarkoon: Three guards of tribal leader Sardar Akbar Khan Nasar were killed while two others were allegedly abducted after unidentified armed men opened fire at an agricultural area in Duki, Balochistan, police said.
The attack took place at the tribal leader’s agricultural property, where the guards were deployed for security. Police identified the deceased as Ghamni alias Ghano, Agha Jan and Izzat Khan.
Following the firing, the attackers reportedly took Nadir Khan and Bashir Khan with them and fled the area.
Police and security personnel rushed to the site after receiving information about the incident. The bodies of the deceased guards were transported to District Headquarters Hospital Duki for medico-legal formalities before being handed over to their families.
Security forces subsequently cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to locate the two abducted guards and track down those responsible for the attack.
No group has so far claimed responsibility for the incident.
