Tourist Resorts being set up at Coastal belt of Balochistan

GWADAR: Tourist resorts are being established at seven locations in the Coastal belt of Balochistan to boost tourism in the country. The Director-General Coastal-Development Authority (CDA), Babar Khan briefed the Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan during his visit to the coastal belt on Saturday.

“Main reason behind the establishment of tourist resorts is to attract tourists”, Babar Khan briefed the CM. Balochistan has a 750 km-long coastal line at the Arabian sea and the present government has decided to establish tourist resorts to promote tourism in the country.

Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan laid down the foundation stone of tourists resorts Kund Malir and Marine Drive a the coastal belt. The CM inaugurated a number of development schemes in Gwadar, Pasni, and other parts of the coastal belt.

CM reviews pace of work on the construction of Mir Ghous Bakhsh Bizenjo football stadium 

Jam Kamal Khan reviewed the pace of work on the under-construction Mir Ghous Bakhsh Bizenjo football stadium in Gwadar. The Director-General Gwadar Development Authority (GDA), Shahzaib Kakar briefed the visiting chief executive about the progress regarding the construction of the stadium.

The CM was also briefed about the under-construction project of a 50beded government-run hospital in Gwadar. The government is establishing a hospital in Gwadar to provide basic health facilities to the masses.

The Chief Minister also visited various schemes in Pasni. The CM was told that a hospital at the cost of Rs. 70m was also being established at Pasni to provide better health facilities to the masses. Speaking on the occasion, Jam Kamal Khan stated that effective steps should be taken for the welfare of fishermen in the area. “Grievances of fishermen should be addressed on a priority basis”, Jam Kamal said.
