NAB files reference against Rehmat Baloch former Minister Balochistan

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) filed a reference against the former health minister Balochistan, Rehmat Saleh Baloch in the assets case. NAB traced out properties of the former health minister and his relatives, spokesman of the anti-graft said on Monday evening.
The former minister had opened bank accounts in the name of brothers and relatives to transfer corruption money into those accounts, he mentioned. Huge amounts transferred into the accounts of low-grade employees and relatives, the Spokesman stated.
Rehmat Saleh Baloch belonged to the former ruling National Party (NP). He remained provincial minister health from 2013 to 2018 in Balochistan in the cabinet of Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch and Nawab Sanaullah Zehri.

Mr. Baloch elected on the ticket of NP during the general elections of 2013 from Panjgoor Balochistan. “NAB obtained solid evidence against the former minister”, the Spokesman added.
NAB Balochistan has expedited efforts against the corrupt elements in the province. The anti-corruption bureau has filed a number of references against the corrupt elements.
Pat Feeder Canal Embezzlement Case :
NAB also filed a reference against 16 project director Sher Zaman, firm consultants, and 14 other officials in the Pat Feeder Embezzlement case on Monday. The accused had inflicted a loss of Rs. 59 crore to the national exchequer. The NAB Spokesman stated that a reference filed against the accused in the accountability court.
An investigation into the embezzlement case was underway for the last few months. The NAB filed the reference after obtaining solid evidence of corruption against the accused, the spokesman added. The project director had granted contract of the mega project to a blue-eyed contractor to earn money through illegal means.
