NAB approves inquiry against Zehri, Dr. Malik former CMs Balochistan

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) approved inquiry against former chief ministers Balochistan Nawab Sanaullah Zehri and Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch. The NAB chief approved launching an inquiry against the former chief ministers of Balochistan in misuse of powers and corruption case.

Chairman NAB Justice (R) Javed Iqbal chaired a meeting of the executive board of NAB on Tuesday and approved the launching of an inquiry against the former chief ministers. Two separate inquiries would be launched against the chief ministers, Spokesman NAB said in a statement.

NAB board also approves inquiries against other officials 

The Chairman also approved the launching of inquiries and filing of references against others in Balochistan and other provinces. NAB has expedited the anti-corruption campaign recently across the country.

Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch and Nawab Sanaullah Zehri remained chief ministers of Balochistan during Pakistan Muslim League (N) government. Dr. Baloch heads of the National Party, a Baloch nationalist party. However, Nawab Zehri has parted ways with Nawaz Sharif, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan over party issues.

NAB had already filed a reference against the former chief minister, Nawab Muhammad Aslam Raisani, and former ministers Mir Sadiq Umrani and Rehmat Saleh Baloch.
