5 died in traffic accidents in Balochistan

At least 3 people died and 2 injured in a traffic accident in Khuzdar district of Balochistan on Friday. Levies sources said a car collided with a truck in the Wahir area of Khuzdar district. They said the collision left 3 people dead and 2 injured.
The injured shifted to hospital by rescue workers deployed on the highway connecting Quetta with Karachi. The car that collided with the truck coming from the opposite side completely destroyed in the accident. Levies officials reached the spot as an investigation into the incident went underway. Levies termed reckless driving as the main reason behind the traffic accident.
Executive Engineer WAPDA dies
Naseebullah Baloch, an executive engineer of WAPDA died in a traffic accident in Kan Mehtarzai area of Killa Saifullah district. Levies sources said Naseebullah Baloch’s car collided with a passenger coach coming from the opposite side. He was serving in Balochistan’s Loralai district currently.
Quetta
One person died and another injured in a traffic accident in the Koila Phatak area of the city. Police said the victims belonged to the Pashtoonabad area of Quetta. The injured shifted to civil hospital Quetta for medical treatment. The condition of the injured was out of danger.
Traffic accidents are almost the order of the day on the Quetta-Karachi route. Traffic accidents have claimed scores of precious human lives in various parts of Balochistan. Poor, narrow road conditions, over-speeding, and reckless driving are the main causes behind the increasing number of road accidents in Balochistan. The provincial government is yet to ensure traffic rules in the province that covers half of the country in terms of area.
