Commander Southern Command visits Balochistan police headquarters

Commander Southern Command Lieutenant General, Sarfaraz Ali visited the Balochistan police headquarters on Tuesday. The Balochistan police chief, Muhammad Tahir Rai thoroughly briefed the Commander Southern Command about the police role in maintaining law and order situation.
The police chief briefed the Commander about the structure of police and the responsibilities of the force in the province. Muhammad Tahir Rai presented a plan before the Commander for the eradication of terrorist activities.
The Inspector-General of Police mentioned that police, counter-terrorism department (CTD) and other law enforcement agencies would boost coordination to eliminate terrorism. They would also conduct joint operations.
The Commander Southern Command expressed satisfaction over the performance of police for maintaining law and order in the province.
