Government recommends honorary degree of doctorate to  Shaheed Aimal Kasi

The Balochistan government has recommended awarding the honorary degree of the doctorate to Shaheed Aimal Kasi. In a letter addressed to the Principal Secretary to the Governor, the provincial government has asked the Governor/Chancellor to award an honorary degree of doctorate to Aimal Kasi.

Five people including Aimal Kasi, a young man were martyred in a powerful bomb explosion in Quetta’s Serena hotel a few days back. The blast had also left over a dozen people injured.

CM visits the residence of Aimal Kasi 

Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan had visited the residence of Aimal Kasi for offering fateha and assured awarding an honorary doctorate degree. “An honorary degree of doctorate may be conferred on the deceased”, the CM has desired in the letter.

Kasi was a PhD student at the Management Sciences at Balochistan University, but due to the tragic incident of the Quetta Serena hotel bombing, he could not complete his degree. “He was a lovely brother”, Dr. Mir Wais Kasi, the elder brother of Aimal told Quetta Voice.

Aimal got his article published in the International Journal 

Aimal had also published his article in the International Journal and he was about to publish the second article. “I cannot forget his smiling face”, Mir Wais Kasi said.

30 years old Aimal Kasi was scheduled to get married soon after Eid ul Fitr. He was known for supporting fellow students from poor and marginalized families at the University of Balochistan.

Despite the family’s insistence to study abroad, Aimal decided to study in Quetta and serve the people. He had done his BBA degree from the Balochistan University of Information Technology and Management Sciences. Aimal had also got his MS degree from Iqra University.

Shaheed Mir Aimal Kasi was a true follower of the teachings of Holy Prophet Mohammad PBUH, Aimal Shaheed wanted to bring change in society through humanity and education, although he got martyred, it is hoped that the youth of Pakistan will continue the mission of Aimal Khan Shaheed for Islam and the collective good of humanity, Mir Waise Kasi mentioned.
