Kech district: Police arrest a student misbehaving with teacher

Police have arrested a student misbehaving with a teacher in Balochistan’s Kech district on Friday. The video of a student misbehaving with a teacher collecting papers during matric examinations went viral on social media.
The video caused outrage with people calling for the arrest of the student. The Deputy Commissioner Kech, Hussain Jan took notice of the incident and directed the levies to arrest the student.

Student arrested from Absar area of Turbat
“We have arrested the student from Absar area of Turbat”, Roshan Baloch, the Station House Officer (SHO) said. He said police conducted a raid at the residence of the student and arrested him.
In the video, cheating by students taking the matric examinations is also rampant.
The teachers’ community strongly condemned the incident and demanded stern action against the student. “This is unacceptable”, Syed Aqeel Shah, a teacher based in Quetta said.
People also put a question over the training of teachers
However, some people on social media also put questions about the training of teachers. Teachers have to fulfill their responsibilities and teach students about social and moral values as well, people on social media networks demanded. “We cannot only blame the student for such a behavior rather teachers also”, Muhammad Ghazanfar, a social media activist also commented on Facebook.
