Death toll rises to 7 as Chaman blast FIR registered

CHAMAN: Death toll in Chaman blast reached 7 as another person succumbed to injuries in the hospital. “A seriously injured person succumbed to injuries in hospital”, Dr. Akhtar, the Medical Superintendent of Chaman hospital told Quetta Voice.
The blast had also injured 14 people. 11 injured admitted at Chaman hospital. However, seriously injured people brought to Trauma Center Quetta for medical treatment. “We have received three seriously injured of the blast”, Waseem Baig, the Spokesman civil hospital Quetta said.
FIR registered against unknown terrorists
The Counter-Terrorist Department (CTD) registered the First Information Report (FIR) against unknown terrorists in Chaman. The Spokesman of the CTD said FIR lodged against unknown terrorists in Chaman police station.
Murder, attempt to murder, explosive act, terrorism etc included in the FIR. However, no arrest made in connection with the Chaman blast that rocket entire bordering city on Friday evening.
Maulana Luni targeted in the blast
The central leader of the Jamiat ul Ulema e Islam (Idealogical), Maulana Qadir Luni was the target of the blast. The bomb planted in a motorcycle went off with big bang as the rally in solidarity with oppressed Palestinians ended in the bordering city.
Speaking at news conference, Maulana Luni stated, “I was the target of the blast”. He however said his party would continue to raise slogans against Israeli atrocities against the oppressed Palestinians.
Security tightenedÂ
Security tightened in and around the bordering city in the aftermath of the blast on Friday. Police and Levies personnel deployed at all sensitive locations to ensure peace in the aftermath of the blast.
Investigators also visited the site of the explosion and collected evidence from the spot. The Balochistan Chief Minister, Jam Kamal Khan has also strongly condemned the terror attack and ordered inquiry into the incident.
