QUETTA: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Thursday filed a reference against incharge and food controller Sariab road for an embezzlement of millions of rupees to national exchequer. According to a statement issued by spokesman NAB, the accused Bashir Abro had disappeared 7000 bags of wheat and fraudulently shown 3000 bags as expired flour. NAB Balochistan after initial investigation filed a reference against the accused.
With this fraudulent action, the accused had inflicted loss of millions of rupees of national exchequer. According to details, the accused was provided 700000 bags of flour for Sariad road food center. NAB Balochistan sources however stated the investigation would be expanded in the days to come with regard to food embezzlement.
