MUSLIM BAGH: In Balochistan’s Killa Saifullah district, 10 out of 26 people were tested positive for the novel coronavirus during a random testing process at a village the other day. The outbreak of the Covid-19 prompted the Command and Operation Center (COC) to request the district administration to seal the affected village and complete screening and testing of the villagers.

According to a letter from COC obtained by the daily Quetta Voice, testing was conducted at  Killi Sargarh Muslim Bagh. 10 out of 26 people were tested positive for the coronavirus. One person had already died in the village reportedly from Covid-19, the letter said.

In rural Balochistan, coughing, cold fever, soar throat among the people in general, and aged people, in particular, is common. Villagers have been suffering from all symptoms of coronavirus. However, in the absence of proper testing, the disease cannot be diagnosed and thus the virus gradually penetrates in population.
