QUETTA: Senior bureaucrat Saboor Kakar has been posted as the Additional Chief Secretary (Development) Balochistan on Thursday evening. According to a notification issued by the office of chief secretary, Mr. Kakar, a grade-21 officer has been posted as the ACS (Development) Balochistan.

Abdul Rehman Buzdar, the outgoing ACS has been directed to report to the services and general administration department, another notification issued said. Mr. Buzdar was serving as the ACS Balochistan.

Saboor Kakar was currently serving as the secretary environment and climate change. He has also served as secretary of education and secretary health in Balochistan. The post of ACS is considered to be crucial when it comes to the implementation of the Public Sector Development Program (PSDP).
