News Desk:

Vice-President Pakistan Muslim League (N), Maryam Nawaz has announced to visit Quetta tomorrow (Thursday) to meet the protesting Hazara community. The ethnic Shia Hazara community has staged a prolonged sit-in against the brutal murder of 11 coal miners in Balochistan’s Mach area.

“I will appeal my sisters and brothers to bury the dead bodies”, she tweeted on Wednesday night. The PML (N) leader expressed the hope that the Hazara community would accept her demand.

Sources in the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) said that Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari would also visit Quetta tomorrow. Bilawal would meet the protesters mourning the brutal killing of coal miners in Balochistan’s Mach area. Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Murad Ali Shah and other central leaders of the party would also accompany Bilawal Bhutto during his visit.

The announcements of two mainstream opposition leaders have come after Prime Minister Imran Khan urged the protesters to bury the slain minors. The premier has also assured that he will meet the protesters and come to Quetta. Nonetheless, the enraged community has linked the burial of their loved ones with the arrival of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The protest of the Hazara community entered into the fifth day on Thursday.
