Trade with neighboring countries priority of government: CM Balochistan

Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan has said promotion of trade activities with neighboring countries was a top priority of the government. He expressed these views while talking to Senator Manzoor Kakar, Senator Ahmed Khan, vice-president Balochistan Chamber of Commerce and Industries (BCCI), Haji Akhtar Kakar, and provincial ministers in Islamabad.

The members of the BCCI apprised the chief minister about issues faced by the business community on borders with Afghanistan and Iran. Jam Kamal assured solution of issues faced by the business community.

Steps being taken to boost bilateral trade

He said steps were being adopted to develop bilateral trade with neighboring countries and open new vistas of development for the people living in frontier villages and towns. He said the government has already opened a border with Afghanistan at Badini gate after Chaman.

“This means the government wants to boost trade with the neighboring country”, the Chief Minister stated.

BCCI office-bearers apprised the CM about issues 

The BCCI office-bearers, Haji Akhtar Kakar thoroughly briefed the CM about the potential of areas near the Badini border. He however said that currently, the members of the business community were facing problems as a result of lack of facilities.

The CM assured that all-out efforts would be made to address the grievances of the traders and steps would be adopted to improving business conditions in the area.
