Secretariat employees should perform their responsibilities: CM Balochistan

QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan on Thursday urged the protesting employees to end agitation and perform their duties.
“Some elements are trying to sabotage development process”, Jam Kamal said in a statement.
Government employees have been protesting for the last four days in support of their demands.
“This attitude is not appropriate”, the CM said. He said some elements have already gone behind the bars for such acts.
Roads remain closed for fourth consecutive day
Roads leading towards Governor’s house and Chief Minister Secretariat remain closed due to employees protest.
Jam Kamal also too to social media networking Twitter and shared salary details of the secretariat employees.
The Chief Minister stated that government had give an appropriate opportunity to the employees to plead their case. However, some political people hijacked and used the employees to get their designs achieved.
Govt employees have to serve the masses
Jam Kamal said the government employees recruited to serve the masses rather than creating hurdles for the people. The Chief Minister has asked the employees to perform their duties.
“If something happens to their jobs, the elements who used provocative language at the stage would be held responsible”, he warned.
CM takes hard on the employees
However, the provincial government has turned down the demands of the employees. “These employees demanding Rs. 15bs extra”, Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan said the other day.
The Balochistan government has also formed a committee headed by the finance minister, Mir Zahoor Buledi to prepare recommendations. However, the protesting employees rejected the committee.
