Ministers dispel the impression about a revolt against Jam Kamal

Balochistan ministers on Tuesday dispelled the impression about a reported revolt against Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan. In a statement issued to the press, Home Minister, Mir Ziaullah Langove reiterated his support to Jam Kamal.

“We standby Jam Kamal and will foil all conspiracies”, Mr. Langove mentioned. Finance Minister Balochistan, Zahoor Buledi took to social media network Twitter and contradicted reports about any resignations.

Ministers statements have come after a section of the press reported cracks within the ruling party 

Provincial ministers’ statements have come after a section of the press reported that Speaker Balochistan Assembly, Qudoos Bizenjo, Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf (PTI) provincial chief, Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind, finance minister Zahoor Buledi had decided to resign. Except for Buledi, none of the angry ministers and speaker contradicted the news item.

Media should avoid fake news: Buledi said

“Media should avoid speculations and fake news”, Mr.  Buledi clarified. However, the parliamentary secretary on information, Bushra Rind reposed her confidence in the Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan. “The Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) is united under the leadership of Jam Kamal”, she said in an official handout issued on Tuesday evening.

BAP has 24 lawmakers

The ruling BAP has  24 lawmakers in the house of 65 in the Balochistan Assembly. However, the PTI has 7 legislators in the provincial assembly. The two parties BAP and PTI have a political alliance in the province and the federal government in Islamabad.

Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan has preferred not to comment on existing cracks within the ruling party so far.
