Riaz Ahmed Baloch :

At least 2 people burnt to death and 2 seriously injured when two petrol-laden vehicles collided in Balochistan’s Chaghi district on Saturday. The incident happened in the Ghat Landi area in district Chaghi, assistant commissioner Dalbandin, Javed Domki said. The vehicles were loaded with Iranian smuggled patrol near the Iranian border.

Mr. Domki said a horrific collision occurred due to over-speeding and reckless driving. Levies personnel reached the spot as an investigation into the incident went underway. Levies also restored traffic suspended in the aftermath of the deadly collision.

“Roaring flames of fire could be seen from quite far away”, the assistant commissioner stated.

The victims who lost their lives in the horrific accident identified as Najeebullah and Chirag, residents of Chaghi. “Roaring flames of fire could be seen from quite far away”, the assistant commissioner stated.

The injured people rushed to Dalbandin hospital for medical treatment. Both the injured had suffered burn injuries, doctors in the hospital said.

Smugglers using unfrequented routes at the Iranian border

Smugglers at the Pak-Iran border use unfrequented routes to sneak into the neighbouring country. Human traffickers have also been using these unfrequented routes for human trafficking to European countries via Iran and Turkey.

Illegal immigrants travel through Iran and Turkey in their journey towards European countries. Very few manage to reach Greece as Iranian and Turkish forces arrest most of them on their way. Illegal immigrants face a lot of difficulties in the prisons of Iran and Turkey.
