Raping a girl: Quetta court sentences accused to life imprisonment

A local court in Quetta has sentenced an accused to life imprisonment for raping a girl after intoxication. Session Judge Sariab, Tariq Anwar Kasi announced the judgement on Saturday.

According to the prosecution, the accused Zulfiqar Ali had sexually assaulted a close relative in Killi Ibrahimzai in the limits of Sariab Quetta police station in 2019 after intoxicating her.

Sariab police had arrested the accused and presented the challan before the court. The Judge announced the judgement after solid medical evidence and in the light of police investigation, court sources stated.

Session court sentences a killer for life imprisonment  

Session Judge Quetta, Dawood Khan Nasar has sentenced an accused involved in the murder of a man to life imprisonment and a fine of Rs. 500,000. The accused Abdul Bari had murdered a man identified as Muhammad Qasim in Gwalmandi police jurisdiction on 28 June 2019.

Police had arrested and registered a case against the accused and submitted a challan before the court. In case of non-payment of fine, the accused will have to serve one more year imprisonment.
