Governor Balochistan Amanullah Yaseenzai resigned

Governor Balochistan Justice (R) Amanullah Khan Yaseenzai has resigned on Wednesday. Sources in the Governor’s house confirmed that the Governor has sent his resignation to the President of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi.

President of Pakistan Arif Alvi had appointed Justice (R) Amanullah Khan Yaseenzai as the Governor of Balochistan on October 3rd, 2018. The appointment was made on the recommendation of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Race for the slot of Governor Balochistan entered a decisive phase on Wednesday. Candidates for the position of Governor Balochistan have been making hectic efforts to win the race.

As the news of the resignation of Governor Justice (R), Amanullah Khan Yaseenzai went viral. Political, tribal elites, former diplomats, bureaucrats started testing their muscles.

Prime Minister Imran Khan had asked Mr. Yaseenzai to resign as governor Balochistan almost one and half month back.
