Landslide kills a coal miner in Dukki Balochistan

Landsliding has killed a coal miner in Balochistan’s Dukki district on Monday evening. Levies sources said the miner was working deep inside the mine when a landslide hit him.

He was dead on the spot. Fellow miners and rescue workers reached the mine and retrieved the dead body of the coal miner. The dead miner was identified as Omar Shah, a resident of neighboring Afghanistan.

The dead body was shifted to the hospital. However, the dead body is handed over to the heirs after the completion of necessary procedures.

Hazardous working conditions inside coal mines of Balochistan have claimed thousands of precious human lives. With poor safety or almost no safety, the miners have been extracting coal at the cost of their lives.
