A local court in Quetta has directed the police to produce plaintiffs in the Quetta video scandal. Police produced key accused in the video scandal, Hidayat Khilji, and Khaliji before the court on Saturday afternoon.

Additional District and Session Judge, Muhamamd Afzal Kakar ordered the police to make sure to produce the plaintiffs before the court on the next date of hearing. Police told the court that despite repeated attempts, they were not able to trace out Nayab Batool and Fauzia Bibi.

Both complainants are abroad and they are not inside Pakistan, the police informed. Produce the complainants or we will direct the Superintendent of Police Quaidabad to come and appear before the court, the Judge stated.

Bail-in recovery of narcotics canceled

The court also rejected the bail application of the two accused in the Quetta Video Scandal. Both the accused had submitted a bail application before the court. After the video scandal, police had also recovered narcotics from the possession of the accused Hidayat Khilji and Khalil Khilji.

Quetta police had arrested the key alleged accused Hidayat Khilji for allegedly raping and filming girls in the city in December last year. The scandal was widely condemned on social media. Political parties and women had marched on the roads of Quetta city asking the government to give an exemplary punishment to the key accused involved in the video scandal.
