DUKKI: Two coal miners died of electric shock in Balochistan’s Dukki district on Monday. Levies sources said the miners were working deep inside the mine when they died of electric shock. Both the victims belonged to neighboring Afghanistan.

Rescue workers and fellow coal miners retrieved the dead bodies of the miners from the mine. The dead bodies were shifted to district headquarters hospital Dukki. The hospital administration handed over the dead bodies to the heirs of the victims after the completion of necessary official procedures.

Hazardous and unsafe working conditions inside coal mines of Balochistan have claimed scores of precious human lives. Such incidents in coal mines of Balochistan in general and Dukki in particular have become order of the day.
