JUI Balochistan discusses possible joining of Govt with CM Bizenjo

ISLAMABAD: Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Quddus Bizenjo called on the provincial amir of Jamiat ul Ulema e Islam (JUI), Maulana Abdul Wasey on Sunday night. Opposition leader Malik Sikandar Advocate, Haji Nawaz Kakar, Asghar Tareen and other lawmakers from the religious group were also present on the occasion.

 

“The JUI F lawmakers discussed possible joining of the coalition government in Balochistan with the CM”, an insider of the meeting told Daily Quetta Voice. He said the religious party has demanded attractive ministries in the Balochistan cabinet.

Balochistan minister Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran also accompanied the Chief Minister during the meeting. So far, no formal decision has been made regarding the joining of the government. “Yes, the JUI wants to be part of the government”, the insider of the meeting stated. He requested anonymity because of the sensitivity of the matter.

Chief Minister Mir Quddus Bizenjo is expected to have the second round of talks with JUI F leaders in Islamabad today (Monday) again.
