SHO Brewery Quetta suspended after arrest of 2 policemen by anti corruption

QUETTA: Inspector General of Police Balochistan, Abdul Khaliq Sheikh suspended the Station House Officer (SHO) Brewery Road, Attique Dashti. The police chief suspended the SHO after the arrest of two personnel of the Brewery police station by the anti-corruption department the other day.

“Yes notification about my suspension issued”, the SHO told Daily Quetta Voice via telephone. He preferred not to comment and give further details to this scribe.

Anti-corruption department conducted a raid and arrested two personnel of the Brewery road police station. “Both officials were caught red-handed after getting bribery from a person”, a well-placed source at the anti-corruption department said. He requested anonymity.

The video of the policemen taking money from the person went viral on social media. People widely shared the video and strongly criticized the police for their actions.
