The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) on Thursday foiled a major bid of smuggling 1400 kilograms of hashish. The ANF conducted a successful operation and seized 1400 kgs of hashish in a deserted mountainous area of Gwadar, the Spokesman of ANF said.

Two suspects were arrested during the operation. The successful operation was conducted on secret information, the Spokesman stated. The accused were trying to smuggle huge quantities of narcotics through camels. He said 1400 kg of hashish had to be loaded on camels and smuggled through Gwadar and then by sea.

In another raid, the ANF also seizedĀ 3 kg 500 grams of ice recovered from the trolley bag of 2 suspects who were going to Sharjah at Bacha Khan International Airport Peshawar.
