National female hockey player Shahida Raza, who decided to become an immigrant in search of employment, died in a boat accident on her way to Italy on Wednesday. Officials of Pakistan Hockey Federation and PHF Women’s Wing Syeda Shehla Raza, Tanzeela Amir Cheema expressed their condolences on behalf of the hockey community.
Shahida Raza was 27 years old and mother of one child. She was the member of Pakistan Women’s Hockey team and was also a national football player. The female national hockey player come to the decision of becoming an immigrant due to constant worries about livelihood.
The dreams of the future are painted on the eyelids of the female national hockey player Shahida Raza, the boat overturned after hitting a mountain during her sea trip. The national hockey player, along with various foreigners on board the boat, could not withstand the strong waves of the sea and lost their lives.
Pakistan Hockey Federation Vice President Shehla Raza and PH Women Wing Secretary Tanzila Amir Cheema, PHF officials and people associated with Pakistan Hockey have expressed their deep sorrow over the sudden death of a female national hockey player in an accident.
