Police arrested seven activists of the Haq Do Tehreek (HDT) after the cancellation of bail in Gwadar on Saturday.

The activists appeared before the court in connection with the registration of FIRs against them in Gwadar. Police lodged FIRs against them for damaging public and private properties during a protest demonstration in the district.

The session court rejected their bail and they were taken into custody by the police. The HDT activists were shifted to jail after the cancellation of the bail.

The HDT Chief Maulana Hidayat ur Rehman is already under the custody of police for causing damages to public and private properties in Gwadar. The charge was vehemently denied by -HDT Chief Maulana Hidayat ur Rehman.
