QUETTA:

Central Vice President, of Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf (PTI), Qasim Suri on Wednesday lashed out at the present government for what he claimed its deliberate attempts to flee from elections.

He expressed these views while addressing a press conference. Munir Baloch, the President of PTI Balochistan and other leaders of the party were also present on the occasion.

“We would not let PDM flee from elections”

“Whey PDM is running from elections”, Mr. Suri asked. He asserted that the combination of all what he called anti masses parties was frightened of the popularity of the PTI. He said despite repeated directives of the Chief Justice Supreme Court of Pakistan, the government was not ready to hold elections in the country.

“We will not let them go and flee from elections”, the former deputy speaker of the national assembly said. He said the PDM parties were not ready to face the masses in the elections because of their worst performance and inflation. “They deprived people of one time’s meal”, he said.

Suri asks for one month’s extension in the census

Regarding the recently conducted census, Qasim Suri demanded a one-month extension in the census process. He said under a pre-planned conspiracy, the population of Quetta was decreased in the recently held census. He said Quetta was the capital of Balochistan and its population was much more than what was reported by the census commissioner.

“PTI would not let the rulers deprive people of Quetta from their legal and constitutional rights”, Qasim Suri said. He said the party would resist this move of the census commissioner.

Qasim Suri urged all political parties of Balochistan to join hands and mount pressure on the government to extend the date of the census for at least one month to make sure every individual is counted.

This is a matter of our future generation and we would not stay silent over this injustice, Mr. Suri warned.
