CM Domki talking to passengers traveling in a green bus

QUETTA: Caretaker Chief Minister Balochistan, Ali Mardan Domki announced to increase in the number of green buses in the provincial capital. On Wednesday morning, the caretaker in a surprise visit traveled in the green bus and interacted with passengers and inquired about their problems.

“I assure you that the number of buses would be increased and more areas would be covered”, the caretaker CM told the women passengers. Senior officials from the Chief Minister’s Secretariat also accompanied the caretaker CM.

Green bus timing increased for one hour

Mr. Domki also directed the administration of the buses to increase the timing of the operation by one hour in the evening to facilitate the passengers. “Now the bus operation would end at 8 pm instead of 7 pm”, he announced.

The launch of green bus service is the best initiative of the former provincial government, he added. “We will extend the green bus service to other areas of the city”, Mr. Domki announced on the occasion.

CM directs the transport department to prepare an extension plan

Instructing the Transport Secretary accompanying the Chief Minister to submit the plan immediately, he said the extension project would be implemented soon.

Safe travel in a pleasant environment is the right of the citizens, the Chief Minister stated.

It is a pleasure that our mothers, sisters and daughters can now travel with peace of mind, he told the women passengers.
