QUETTA: At least five people were injured in an attack at the election campaign office of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) candidate, Ali Madad Jattak on Wednesday.

Police sources said unknown miscreants lobbed a hand grenade at the election campaign office of Mr. Jattak on Sariab Road Quetta. The attackers escaped unhurt from the spot.

Mr. Jattak was not inside the office at the time of the attack. The injured people were rushed to the civil hospital Quetta for medical treatment.

Police reached the spot as an investigation into the incident went underway.
