QUETTA: Mir Sadiq Umrani, the Provincial Minister for Irrigation and a leader of the Pakistan People’s Party, emphasized the unity of Balochistan’s political and military leadership under Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti. In a recent statement, Umrani highlighted the ongoing development projects aimed at the province’s prosperity and employment for the youth, despite external forces attempting to disrupt peace.

Umrani stated that the leadership is committed to the province’s progress, with development strategies being actively implemented. He accused hostile forces, allegedly driven by international influences, of attempting to destabilize Balochistan. According to Umrani, these entities are instigating protests in Quetta as part of a deliberate conspiracy to hinder the province’s development.

He expressed concerns about international powers, specifically naming India and Israel, who he claims are supplying arms and resources to terrorists in Balochistan. Umrani also addressed the issue of women’s involvement in the unrest, asserting that international forces and terrorists are exploiting women as shields to further their agendas.

Umrani assured that the government is steadfast in maintaining peace and order in Balochistan, prioritizing the protection of its citizens’ lives and property. He affirmed that the government would not yield to terrorist threats and that the people of Balochistan stand proudly with their political and military leadership.

The minister reiterated the government’s focus on development and employment initiatives for the youth, pledging unwavering support for projects spearheaded in collaboration with military leadership. He called for solidarity in facing the challenges posed by external and internal adversaries, ensuring that Balochistan remains on the path of progress and stability.
